Overview

This project, undertaken as part of my Master's degree at the University of Dublin, focuses on the rejuvenation of Peachylean's online shopping platform, a prominent fashion brand catering specifically to females aged between 25 and 45. With the digital landscape for fashion retail becoming increasingly competitive, the need to provide a seamless, engaging, and user-friendly online shopping experience has never been more critical. This project aims to address and innovate upon several key aspects of Peachylean's digital presence to not only enhance user interaction but also to solidify the brand's relationship with its customers

  1. Streamlined User Experience and Engaging Design: Simplify the user journey by reducing unnecessary steps to reach products. Revamp the web layout to make it more visually appealing and engaging, enhancing user interaction and retention.

  2. Efficient Payment Process with Diverse Options: Optimize the payment process by minimizing steps required for checkout. Integrate a broader range of payment methods, including popular digital wallets and various credit/debit cards, to offer customers flexibility and convenience.

  3. Proactive Post-Purchase Engagement: Implement a systematic follow-up system to gather customer feedback and assess product satisfaction. Send post-purchase surveys or emails to understand customer experiences, address concerns, and build a loyal customer base through personalized interactions and improvements based on feedback.

Enhanced User Experience: The insights gathered from the interviews guided the implementation of design changes aimed at improving the overall user experience. This included refining the website layout for easier navigation, optimizing product discovery features, and simplifying the checkout process to minimize friction points.

User-Centric Redesign: Informed by the findings of the moderated user interviews, the project sought to prioritize the needs and preferences of Peachylean's target demographic. By understanding their behaviors and preferences, we aimed to redesign the online platform to better cater to their unique shopping journey and preferences.

Payment Process Optimization: Recognizing the importance of a hassle-free checkout experience, the project seeks to simplify the payment process. This entails reducing the number of steps to purchase, introducing a wider array of payment options, and ensuring that the payment gateway is secure, fast, and reliable.

Feedback Integration: To foster a stronger connection with its clientele and continuously improve the user experience, the project will also introduce a system for collecting post-purchase feedback. This feedback loop will not only provide valuable insights into customer satisfaction but also empower users to have a voice in the brand's evolution.
